Who can benefit?

The NeurOptimal« Neurofeedback method from the Canadian company Zengar Institute is unique in the sense that it does not compare the brain of an individual to a “standard brain” but in fact its interest lies in the VARIABILITY of a person’s brain, that is to say the way in which electrical activity changes with time, in an individual’s brain. It is this variability that is taken into account in order to analyse the necessary adjustment for the brain.

For the analysis of the electrical signals emitted by the brain, NeurOptimal« uses an algorithm from Dennis Gabor, the 1971 Nobel prizewinner for physics.

The NeurOptimal« Neurofeedback method helps one’s brain to automatically adjust itself. It is not a medical treatment but “passive cerebral gymnastics”.

The NeurOptimal« Neurofeedback sessions are especially recommended for the following disorders:

- ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
- Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome
- PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder)
- OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
- Bipolar Disorder
- PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
- Language and learning disorders
- Sleep disorders
- Fibromyalgia
- Depression
- Chronic pain
- Headaches, Migraines
- Anxiety
- Panic Attacks
- Phobias
- Addictions
- Epilepsy
- Cerebral paralysis
- Degenerative illnesses (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s...)

...and, general problems of the Central Nervous System (CNS).
